The Lord is worshiped with great devotion and prayers are performed daily. Huge Lord Ganpati statue can be spotted in the streets where a large number of people gather and offer prayers together. On the tenth day, the statues are carried on decorated floats and immersed in the sea. Many people take part in the immersion of the idols in the sea. The people gather together to dance, sing, offer prayers and explode firecrackers on the way to Lord’s immersion. They ask for the lord’s blessings and to come back to their home the next year.
